Maskmedic Pty Ltd is a private company established to commercialise new technologies developed by Professor Colin Sullivan for the diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of sleep disordered breathing (SDB).
Professor Sullivan invented and developed nasal continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP): the first successful non-invasive treatment of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), a form of sleep disordered breathing.

We are proud to introduce the first one-piece CPAP mask especially designed for paediatric patients – The Paediatric Concept™ Soft Nasal Mask.
The Paediatric Concept Nasal Mask is intended for newborns and infants on nasal CPAP and NIV therapy. It was designed by Professor Colin Sullivan, the inventor of CPAP therapy for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA).
Through the treatment of hundreds of paediatric patients Professor Sullivan has gained an intimate understanding of the special needs of newborns and infants. This, together with the increased awareness in the utility of CPAP and non-invasive ventilation (NIV) in the treatment of paediatric diseases, provided the incentive for Professor Sullivan to develop the Paediatric Concept Nasal Mask.
The result is a lightweight, comfortable, easy to use mask that is contoured to provide a comfortable and leak-free seal for the newborn and infant.
A unique feature of the Concept mask is that it is soft. This softness is achieved with a design that removes the need for hard plastic parts found in other masks. Instead, the soft silicone cushion is self-supporting via reinforcement within the cushion itself
