Overview
SPAFAS operates two production houses and a hatch/grow operation for the production of Specific Pathogen Free (SPF) eggs and birds in the human and animal health biologics industry.
The production houses contain approximately 2,000 laying hens. The hatch/grow facility contains three, 5,000 egg capacity incubators and around 500 pullet cages for growing production and sentinel birds.
SPAFAS also holds the exclusive agency in Australia/New Zealand and various Asian regions for supply of laboratory animal housing systems and associated equipment for use in the Human Biologics Research industries.
